Secondly the fact that you are on a screen and not in person takes away some vulnerable feelings, and some have reported feeling more on an even power level. 

Face-to-Face Therapy

Of course the advantage to face-to-face therapy is the energy and chemistry you feel from being inthe company of a person. It is said that most of our communication is non-verbal, and we unconsciously pick up on the slightest muscle movement and derive meaning from it. It is helpful in therapy when a person’s body language is conveying something different from what they are saying. Highlighting this can uncover a problem more quickly.

Online programs are a great way to get a head start with learning the foundations of a specific issue and putting them into practice, saving time and money on therapy. Programs also are a great way to engage with a like-minded community for on-going support that will continue after the program has finished.
